How To Measure Lace Wig Caps
Learn How To Measure Lace Wig Caps.
Style Your Hair Laying it as flat to the scalp as possible.
Use a Cloth Measuring Tape.
Your Wig May not fit if you do not measure properly.
Take your measurements several times.
Round the measurements up to the nearest 1/2 inch. (example: 12 3/4 inches becomes 12 1/2 inches)
1. HEAD CIRCUMFERENCE Measure all around the head. Position tape measure so its edge follows the hairline all around the head and nape of the neck. Average measurement 22" (see picture in link BELOW)
2. FRONT TO NAPE Measure from front hairline to nape of neck. Start at the front hairline and measure directly down the middle of your head to the nape of your neck. Average measurement 13.5" (see picture in link BELOW)
Determining the Nape Tilt your back, look up toward the sky. Where your head bends, and folds is the nape of your neck. The bottom of wig should sit just above this area. After you find the nape MEASURE WITH HEAD TILTED DOWN.
3. FRONT HAIRLINE Measure from ear to ear. Start at the top or base of sideburn measuring up across hte hairline along the forehead, to the same place at opposite ear. Average measurement 11.5" (see picture in link BELOW)
4. OVER TOP OF HEAD Measure from ear to ear over and across top of your head. Start at the top edge of your ear and measure directly across the top of your head to the top edge of opposite ear. Average measurement 11" (see picture in link BELOW)
5. TEMPLE TO TEMPLE Measure from temple to temple across the back of your head. Average measurement 14" (see picture in link BELOW)
6. NAPE OF NECK Measure along the nape line from corner to corner. (See instructions of Determing the Nape ABOVE) Average measurement 6" (see picture in link BELOW)
